What search filters are available in ListKit?

Written by Andre Haykal Jr

TL;DR

  • ListKit's Search has two main filter groups: People filters and Company filters.

  • People filters target the individual (job title, location, keywords).

  • Company filters target the business (industry, size, revenue, technology, funding, and more).

  • This article is your reference map. Each filter has its own dedicated article for full detail.

The filter panel is organized as: Pre-Built Filters, AI Data Stream, Context (AI Company Search or AI People Search), People, People Location, Company, Company Location. Most filters have Include and Exclude tabs.

How to choose the right combination

A strong search typically layers:

  1. Identity filters: Industry, Keywords, or AI Search to define who qualifies

  2. Firmographic filters: Employees, Revenue, Funding to qualify by scale and budget

  3. People filters: Job Title to reach the right person inside the company

  4. Geographic filters: Company Location (not People Location) for most B2B use cases

Expected outcome

You should now be able to:

  • Identify which filter applies to your targeting need

  • Understand the difference between People-level and Company-level filters

  • Know where to go next for detailed guidance on any specific filter

Troubleshooting / FAQs

Which filter should I start with?
A Pre-Built Filter if one matches your niche. Otherwise AI Company Search, Keywords or Industry to define the company, then Job Title. See How do I build a leads list for a specific campaign? for a full walkthrough.

What's the difference between People and Company location filters?
People filters target where an individual lives; Company filters target where the business operates. For most B2B use cases, use Company location filters.

Is there a filter for every use case?
Most standard B2B use cases are covered. If you have a unique need, contact [email protected]. You can also save any filter combination with Saved filters. See: How do I save and reuse a search in ListKit?
