  1. To create a subsequence, first head to Email Campaign and then open the campaign that you want the subsequence to trigger on

    1. Subsequences are triggered on the campaign level.

  2. Next, click Subsequence and then + Add Subsequence

  3. Once inside, creating a subsequence is very similar to creating a campaign. It is essentially a campaign within a campaign.

  4. The recommended subsequence and most common use case is following up with interested replies. For that setup, here is how you want to configure it below:

    1. The condition is that it triggers when leads are marked as Interested

    2. We add a 4 day delay to give you time to write the initial manual response and then the subsequence can do the follow ups automatically

  5. Inside Sequences, this is where you write the follow up. You can add steps on the left similarly to \creating a campaign if you want multiple follow ups with a delay in-between. Once ready, hit Save & Next

    1. Leave the subject line blank so that the emails thread back to the original chain

  6. The next step is similar to the campaign setup. Use these settings:

    1. Schedule (campaign start date is the only unique variable to you that you decide)

    2. Settings (the only ones you want to alter are the following

i- Name

ii- Sending pattern

iii- Limits

Hit Save & Next then on Final Review launch it.
