With ListKit’s Automated Workflows, you can effortlessly keep your email campaigns fresh by continuously pushing new, targeted leads into them on autopilot. This feature is especially useful if you're running ongoing outreach using cold email and want to make sure you're always reaching out to new prospects, without having to manually export leads every time.
Workflows are built to run on a schedule (like every 2 days), using criteria from a previous order or custom filters. Whenever the workflow runs, new leads that match your criteria are pulled in and immediately sent to the campaign you choose.
Here’s how to set it up:
Log into your ListKit account
Head over to https://app.listkit.io/login and log into your dashboard.
Access the Workflows page
On the left-hand side menu, click on “Workflows.”Create a new workflow
Once the Workflows page loads, click on the “Create Workflow” button in the top-right corner.Rename your workflow for easy tracking
Click on the pencil icon next to the default workflow name, and rename it to something memorable (e.g., “Intent Data Campaign - Bi-Daily”).Set how often your workflow should run
Click on “Set Schedule”, then choose how frequently you'd like it to export leads (e.g., every 1 day).Pro Tip: If you’re using the intent data feature, setting it to run every 1 day ensures you're always capturing the newest leads from the daily refresh.
Once done, click “Back.”Choose your lead criteria
Click on “Lead Criteria” and then “Choose lead source or create new filters.”Select your order history
From the dropdown, select “Order History” and then click on “Select an order.” Choose the previous order whose filters you'd like to reuse for this workflow.Need help setting this up? Check out our detailed Order History Workflow Setup Guide.
Send leads to your email campaign
After the criteria are set, click “Send to Email Campaign.”In the pop-up, choose an existing campaign from the list — or click “Add new campaign” if you want to create a fresh one for these leads.
Review and publish your workflow
Make sure both the schedule and lead criteria are correctly set.
Once everything looks good, click “Publish” in the top-right corner.
Your workflow is now active and will begin pushing new leads into your selected campaign based on the schedule you’ve defined.
You’re Done!
Your email campaign will now automatically stay topped up with fresh leads that match your targeting, saving you time and making sure your cold email engine never runs dry.
