The B2B Search feature in ListKit 2.0 helps you find your ideal clients and companies using a powerful combination of AI, pre-built filters, and precise targeting options.

This guide walks you through each filter available, what it does, how to use it, and what makes it powerful.

Accessing the B2B Search

  1. From your ListKit 2.0 dashboard, click on B2B Search in the left-hand menu.

  2. Then, click on Companies under it.

  3. If no filters appear, click on the Filters button — this will open the filters menu, allowing you to refine your search.

Pre-Built Filters

The first filter you’ll see is Pre-Built Filters.
When you click on it, you’ll find a collection of filters already created by the ListKit team.

You can:

  • Use them as they are to save time, or

  • Open one and make adjustments based on your specific targeting needs.

This is a great starting point if you’re new to B2B search or want a ready-made foundation.

Context: Description Search (AI Filter)

The next filter is Context, which includes Description Search, one of the newest AI-powered features in ListKit 2.0.

Here’s how it works:

  • Type in a short description of your ideal client profile (ICP).

  • ListKit’s AI will automatically create a tailored filter list based on your description.

It will analyze company industries, and characteristics that match your ICP and generate a refined search result.

Once this is done, the only thing left is to add your People filters (Job titles for example), and your list will be ready to go.

People Filters

Under the People section, you can target leads based on Job Titles.

Job Titles

  • Open the Job Titles filter to view available roles.

  • You’ll see two options:

    • Contains – includes all job titles containing your keyword.

      • Example: typing Chief Executive will match Chief Executive Officer, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, etc.

    • Exact Match – only includes the exact job title you specify.

  • Excluding Job Titles

    • If you want to exclude certain job titles:

      • Click on the Exclude tab,

      • Add the keyword or title you’d like to exclude,

      • Then click Save.

Keywords Filter

The Keywords filter allows you to refine your search based on niche-specific keywords related to your market or ICP.

You can add relevant keywords here (e.g., “SaaS,” “construction,” or “real estate”) and click Save when done.

People Location

This section lets you target where your prospects (people) are located.

You can select:

  • Country

  • State

  • City

This helps ensure that your outreach matches the geographic focus of your campaign.

Company Filters

The Company Filters section lets you target companies based on detailed firmographic data.

Funding

You can filter companies by:

  • Funding Type

  • Funding Range

  • Latest Round Date

Industry

Select the Industry that matches your target companies.
You can include or exclude specific industries based on your needs.

Technologies

Choose the technologies that these companies use.

For example, if you’re targeting companies using HubSpot or Shopify, you can add those here.

Employee Range

Filter companies by employee count — for instance, small businesses (1–50 employees) or larger enterprises (500+).

Include or Exclude Companies

You can manually include or exclude specific companies:

  • Include Companies – Add the domains of companies you want to target.

  • Exclude Companies – Remove companies you don’t want to appear in your results.
(Note: This option activates once you’ve added at least one included company.)

Hiring Status

The Hiring filter lets you specify whether you want to target companies that are currently hiring or not.

This can be especially useful when targeting growing organizations or identifying companies in a hiring phase.

Company Location

Finally, under Company Location, you can define where the company itself is based.
You can select by:

  • Country

  • City

  • Region

  • State

People vs. Company Location

Here’s the key difference:

  • People Location targets where the employees or decision-makers live.

  • Company Location targets where the company is headquartered or operating.

Example:
A company may be located in the U.S., but its employees might be based globally.
If you select both people and company locations as the U.S., your results will only include companies and employees located in the U.S., but this may limit your targeting, and make you miss key decision makers and leads that fall under your ICP, so we recommend using the "Company Location" only, and leave the "People Location" empty.

Reviewing Your Leads List

Once you’ve created and finalized your filters list, you’ll be able to see the total number of leads generated based on your targeting criteria.

  • If you’ve selected Companies, you’ll see the total number of companies that fall under your ICP (Ideal Client Profile).

  • If you’ve selected People, you’ll see the total number of individual leads within those companies.

This gives you a clear overview of how many companies and leads your search results include before exporting.

Proceeding to Checkout

When you’re ready to export your leads list, click the Checkout button located at the top-right corner of your screen.

This will take you to the Export Settings page, where you can choose which data fields to include in your export.

Selecting Export Fields

High-Value Fields

  1. Business Email: The business email of each lead (1 credit)

  2. Business Email Verification: Ensures those business emails you're exporting are triple verified before export (+1 credit)

  3. Mobile Phone Numbers — Includes the mobile number of each lead, when publicly available (+5 credits)

These are the fields that set the main fields you'd like to export and use to contact your leads.

Additional (Free) Fields

Below the high-value section, you’ll see a list of free fields automatically included in your export:

  • Company Name

  • Company Domain

  • Industry

  • Employee Count

  • Company Location

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Job Title

  • Lead Location

These fields help you maintain context for every lead without consuming extra credits.

Additional Paid Fields

You can also include optional fields for more detailed lead data.
Each of these fields costs additional credits:

  • Company Address

  • Company LinkedIn URL

  • Tech Stack

  • Funding Info

  • Personal LinkedIn URL

  • Personal Email

  • Triple Verification for Personal Email

Adding these can enhance your personalization and segmentation during outreach.

Setting Export Limits

You’ll find two key options that control how many leads you export:

1. Max People Per Company

Choose how many leads you’d like to export from each company.
For example, if you set this to 3 and a company has 10 matching leads, ListKit will only export 3 from that company before moving to the next.

2. Lead Quantity

This is the total number of leads you want to export.
For instance, exporting 5,000 leads based on your selected criteria might cost around 35,000 credits, depending on your chosen fields.

Exclusion Options

Before exporting, you’ll see two important exclusion toggles:

  • Exclude all emails from order history – Prevents exporting leads you’ve already purchased before. (Highly recommended to avoid duplicates.)

  • Exclude “Do Not Call” numbers – Removes any phone numbers listed on official DNC registries.

Exporting Your Leads

Once everything is selected:

  1. Review your choices carefully.

    1. The Total amount of leads that Matches your filters

    2. The Total Amount of credits which you have

    3. The Total estimated cost

  2. Once you're sure, click Confirm & Export.

  3. ListKit will begin processing your order

  4. When the verification process finishes, your leads list will be available for download in the "Order History" page, ready for use in campaigns or CRMs.

And that’s a full breakdown of the B2B Search feature in ListKit 2.0, from AI-powered filters to precise people and company targeting.
