Have you ever tried to get a leads list from a specific country or region, only to end up with leads from all around the world?
Don't worry.
Today, we'll show you why this is happening and how to avoid it using ListKit.
First, to filter by companies in a specific country...
Navigate to the 'Companies' filters tab (1), then click on the 3 dots (2). Next, click on the 'Country' filter (3) and pick the country.
A common misconception is this filter will give you leads from that country ONLY.
What many users overlook is that this filter in the 'Companies' tab only filters COMPANIES located in the chosen country.
Therefore, if an employee who lives in another country works in that company, they WILL be included in your filtered list.
To avoid this, you also need to add the 'Country' filter to the 'People' tab.
To do so, first, click on the 'People' filters list (1), then select 'Country' (2), and finally, click on the countries you'd like added in your leads list.
The 'Country' filter from the 'People' tab ensures that only employees from a specific country are added to your list.
Adding it alongside the 'Country' filter from the 'Companies' tab means you'll get employees from that specific country working in companies from the same country added to the filters list.
Now that you have the country set correctly, all that's left is to add the rest of your filters, and your list should be good to go!
