Why does it say my CNAME and DNS is not verified?

TLDR: It is. We use a 3rd party provider for their sending capabilities. Sometimes under campaign performance their UI bugs out.

If you're seeing error messages suggesting that your CNAME or DNS settings aren't verified, this is almost certainly a display issue within our third-party email provider's interface rather than an actual configuration problem with your domains.

Verifying Your CNAME Settings

To confirm that your CNAME is properly configured and working as expected:

  1. Head to the Email Accounts tab and open any account.

  2. Head to General.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom.

At the bottom of this screen, you'll be able to see the actual CNAME verification status. This section provides the accurate status of your domain configuration, regardless of any warning messages displayed elsewhere in the interface.

Checking Your DNS Verification

Similarly, you can confirm your DNS settings are properly configured by:

  1. Head to the Email Accounts tab.

  2. Click Advanced Settings and then Validate DNS.

This validation process will show you the true status of your DNS configuration and confirm that everything is properly set up for optimal deliverability.

Understanding the Interface Bug

The notification you're seeing is a common UI display issue within our email service provider's dashboard. Here's what's happening:

  • Your domains are actually properly configured and verified in the system

  • The settings are working correctly for your email campaigns

  • The warning message appears due to a display bug in the campaign performance section

  • This visual error does not affect your campaign functionality or deliverability

What This Means for Your Campaigns

Despite these warning messages:

  • Your emails are sending normally

  • Deliverability is not affected

  • Domain reputation is building as expected

  • No technical configuration issues exist with your account

No Action Required

You do not need to take any action to address these verification messages. Our technical team has already ensured your domains are properly configured, and the verification warnings are simply a display anomaly.

If you'd like additional reassurance beyond the verification steps above, our support team is always available to confirm your specific domain configuration status.

Why We Use Third-Party Providers

We leverage specialized third-party email infrastructure to provide enterprise-grade deliverability for your campaigns. While these platforms occasionally display minor interface issues like this verification warning, their underlying technology ensures your emails reach their intended recipients effectively.

Rest assured that your email infrastructure is properly configured and operating at peak performance, regardless of these notification anomalies.
