Got a SmartLead account and you're looking to integrate it with ListKit? Below is a quick tutorial on how to do so easily!
Getting your Smartlead API Key
First thing you should do is get your SmartLead API Key.
Head into your SmartLead Dashboard, click on the icon at the top right corner of the dashboard and click settings:
Then, head to 'Your Profile' under 'Settings & Profile'
After that, click on copy your API key:
And now you have your Smartlead API Key.
Adding your Smartlead API key to ListKit
Next, you'll need to add your API key into ListKit in order to export your filtered leads lists to Smartlead. To do so, click on your icon at the bottom left corner, and click on 'Settings'
Then, paste your SmartLead API key which you copied earlier, and click on 'Connect' and you're Smartlead account will get linked to ListKit.
Picking/Creating a Smartlead campaign using ListKit
What you'll need to do next is go to the "Order History" section of ListKit and navigate to the menu on the lefthand side.
Scroll down and you'll see that a new section is now showing called 'Add to Smartlead campaign'.
Using this section, you can either hit 'Add to Smartlead' to export your list into a pre-created campaign in your SmartLead account, or create a new campaign.
To add your list to a pre-generated Smartlead campaign, click on 'Add to Smartlead' then tick one of the existing campaigns to export your leads to. Make sure to have 'Send verified emails only' selected, always send to verified emails only to not hurt your sender reputation.
To create a new campaign, click on 'Add new campaign', and a new pop up will appear. In this pop up, add the name of the campaign you'd like to create, then hit on 'Save' and the campaign will be created in your SmartLead account.
Exporting your leads list into Smartlead
Next, you need to Redeem Credits the same way you normally do and ListKit will go through the same order flow.
However, once the order is fully processed, you can go to the 'Order History' page, and you'll see Smartlead's icon next to the order, which means that this list has been exported to your Smartlead account.
Finally, all you'll need to do is head to your Smartlead account, locate the campaign you've exported your leads to and click on it (The upload CSV step should already be completed for you), write your scripts, setup your campaign settings, then launch your campaign.
