How To Integrate ListKit With Smartlead
This guide will walk you through the process of connecting your ListKit account with Smartlead to streamline your lead exports and campaign management.
Getting Your Smartlead API Key
The first step is retrieving your Smartlead API key:
Log in to your Smartlead Dashboard
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
Navigate to "Your Profile" under the "Settings & Profile" section
Locate your API key and click the "Copy" button
Your Smartlead API key is now copied to your clipboard and ready to use.
Adding Your Smartlead API Key to ListKit
Next, connect your Smartlead account to ListKit:
In your ListKit dashboard, click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner
Select "integrations" from the menu
Locate the Smartlead integration section and tick it
Paste your copied API key into the designated field
Click "Connect" to establish the integration
Your Smartlead account is now linked to ListKit, enabling seamless lead exports.
Exporting Leads to Smartlead
Once connected, you can export leads directly to your Smartlead campaigns:
Navigate to the "Order History" section in ListKit
Click on "Go to history"
Find the order you'd like to export to Smartlead
Click on the 3 dots then select "Send to Smartlead"
Option 1: Export to an Existing Campaign
To add your leads to a campaign you've already created in Smartlead:
Click "Add to Smartlead"
Select one of your existing campaigns from the dropdown list
Ensure "Send verified emails only" is checked to protect your sender reputation
Complete the export by following the prompts
Option 2: Create a New Campaign
To create a new Smartlead campaign directly from ListKit:
Click "Add new campaign"
Enter your desired campaign name in the popup window
Click "Save" to create the campaign
Follow the prompts to complete the export
Completing the Lead Export Process
To finalize your lead export:
Redeem your ListKit credits as you normally would
ListKit will process your order with Triple-Verification
Once processing is complete, check your "Order History" page
Look for the Smartlead icon next to your order, confirming successful export
Using Your Exported Leads in Smartlead
Your leads are now ready to use in Smartlead:
Log in to your Smartlead account
Locate and select the campaign containing your exported leads
Note that the "upload CSV" step has been automatically completed for you
Continue with writing your email scripts
Configure your campaign settings
Launch your campaign
