Open the campaign, then its Sequences page. For each step and variant, you see how many emails were sent, how many replies came in and how many were positive. The page also shows the winning variant.
TL;DR
Open a campaign, then its Sequences page.
For each step and variant you see emails sent, replies and positive replies.
The page shows the winning variant.
Drop variants with zero results, and keep the steps that work for your next campaign.
Judge a campaign angle after about 1,000 people contacted, not after the first few days.
When you'd use this
Use this when you run more than one variant in a step, or want to know which step of your sequence gets replies. It tells you what to keep and what to cut before you scale.
How to see step and variant results
Step 1: Open your campaign
Open the Campaign page (next.listkit.io/campaign) and click the campaign you want to look at.
Step 2: Open the Sequences page
Open the campaign's Sequences page. Each step of your sequence is listed with its variants.
Step 3: Read the numbers
Sent | How many emails went out for that step and variant. |
Replies | How many replies that step and variant got. |
Positive replies | How many of those replies were positive. |
The page also shows the winning variant.
Step 4: Decide what to keep
Drop variants with zero results.
Keep the steps and variants that work, and use them in your next campaign.
If a variant is winning, pull more leads from the same search and relaunch with it. See How do I scale a cold email campaign that is working?.
What good looks like
Wait until the campaign has contacted about 1,000 people before you cut anything. The benchmark is 1 positive reply per 1,000 people contacted. See How do I read my results in Analytics, and why are there no open rates?. A variant with a few emails sent and no replies yet hasn't failed. It just hasn't had enough volume.
Expected outcome
You know which variant and which step get replies and positive replies.
You drop what has no results and carry what works into your next campaign.
