TL;DR
When a lead replies with a file attached, you can see it in the Master Inbox conversation.
You can't attach files to your replies or to campaign emails.
To share a file, upload it somewhere like Google Drive or Dropbox and paste the link into your reply.
Don't put attachments, images or links in your first cold email.
When you'd use this
Use this when a lead sends you a brief, a document or a screenshot, or when you want to send a lead a file, a deck or a video after they reply.
Step-by-step
See a file a lead sent
Open Master Inbox (next.listkit.io/master-inbox).
Open the conversation with the lead.
The attachment shows with the message it came with. Open or download it from there.
Share a file with a lead
Upload the file to Google Drive, Dropbox or a similar service.
Set the sharing so anyone with the link can view it.
Copy the link and add it to your reply in Master Inbox.
Expected outcome
You can read every file a lead sends you without leaving ListKit, and you can share files with leads by link.
FAQ
Can I attach a file to my reply?
Not yet. Share a link to the file instead.
Can I add images or a PDF to my campaign emails?
No. Campaign emails don't support attachments or images. Keep your first email plain text with no links, and offer to send material once the lead replies.
Why can't I see an attachment a lead says they sent?
If it isn't showing in the conversation, ask the lead to resend it or share a link. If it keeps happening, message us.
Can I send a video?
Yes, as a link. A Loom thumbnail with a link works well in replies. See How do I embed a Loom video thumbnail in my reply?.
