TL;DR
The Email Verifier checks emails from outside ListKit: lists you already have, leads from other tools, or contacts you collected yourself.
It costs 1 credit per email checked, whatever the result. There is no bulk discount.
Don't run your ListKit exports through it. They're already triple-verified at export.
Upload a CSV or paste emails on the Email Verification page. Each address comes back Good, Risky or Bad.
Your results appear in Order History, and we also email them to you.
When you'd use this
Use the Email Verifier before you send to a list that didn't come from ListKit. Sending to invalid addresses raises your bounce rate. You don't need it for leads you exported from ListKit: see Why does ListKit verify emails at the point of export?
How to verify a list
Open the Email Verification page from the left sidebar (or go to next.listkit.io/email-verification).
Upload a CSV file, or paste your email addresses.
Check how many emails were detected. That number is the number of credits the check will use.
Start the verification.
Each email is checked at that moment: syntax, domain and mailbox. Each one gets a quality label: Good, Risky or Bad. To understand the labels, see What do Good, Risky and Bad mean, and should I send to catch-all emails?
Where your results go
Order History: your verification is listed with your other orders. Download the results when it shows as complete. See How do I download my leads and use Order History?
Email: we also send the results to the email address on your ListKit account.
How many credits does verification use?
1 credit per email checked, from the same credit balance you use for exports. The credit pays for the check itself, so Risky and Bad results use a credit too.
Verifying an outside list of 1,000 emails: 1,000 credits.
Exporting 500 leads from ListKit: 500 credits, and triple verification is already included. No extra verification needed.

Expected outcome
You get a file with a quality label for every email, so you can keep the Good ones, remove the Bad ones and decide what to do with Risky ones before you send.
FAQ
Is this the same as Triple Verification?
No. Triple Verification happens automatically when you export leads from ListKit, and it is included in the 1 credit per lead. The Email Verifier is for lists from outside ListKit.
Does verifying a Risky or Bad email still use a credit?
Yes. The credit pays for running the check, whatever the result.
Is there a cheaper way to verify a large list?
No. It costs 1 credit per email whatever the size of the list. There is no bulk discount.

It says I don't have enough credits, but my balance shows credits. What do I do?
That shouldn't happen. Send us a message in the app. Our support team replies Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm ET, usually within 2 hours. Messages sent outside those hours are answered the next business day. Include a screenshot and the file you tried to verify.
