TL;DR
Grok Bot is a third-party AI agent that can manage your ListKit Master Inbox for you, replying to leads, following up, and booking meetings, fully autonomously
This is a community-built workflow using xAI's Grok Bot, not an official ListKit feature or product
Setup requires a paid Grok Bot plan (the video creator used the $100/month tier) and a ListKit account for it to log into
Once connected, Grok Bot can read Master Inbox, reply to interested leads, follow up on stale threads, and book meetings using your booking link, all without you touching your inbox
You stay in control of how much autonomy it has, start with approval-required replies, then hand over full autonomy once you trust its output
Why this matters / When you'd use this
If you're spending significant time manually replying to leads, following up on threads that have gone quiet, and booking meetings one by one, this is a workflow worth knowing about. Christian, ListKit's co-founder, has been running Grok Bot on his own cold email inbox and had it independently handle full back-and-forth conversations, including objection handling, rebooking, and meeting confirmations, with zero manual input from him.
This is not something ListKit builds or officially supports. It's a third-party AI agent (from xAI) that gets access to your ListKit account and operates it like a human assistant would.
What Grok Bot can actually do
Based on real usage, Grok Bot connected to a ListKit account can:
Monitor Master Inbox and identify interested replies
Handle objections and niche-specific pushback in real time (for example, adjusting targeting on the fly when a lead clarifies what they actually need)
Follow up automatically on threads with no response for 3+ days
Skip leads correctly categorized as Not Interested, Out of Office, or Unsubscribed
Book meetings directly using your calendar/booking link (e.g., Chili Piper)
Confirm meeting invites and CC the right team member (like a sales rep or closer) on the thread
Update a lead's status from Interested to Meeting Booked once a call is confirmed
Work from mobile, you can message it on-the-go and tell it to do a full inbox sweep
In the examples shared, it independently rebooked a stalled lead that had gone cold for almost a month, and fully handled a same-day objection-to-booked-call conversation without any human replying in between.
Before you start
This requires a paid Grok Bot plan. In the walkthrough, the $100/month tier was used specifically to get full capacity for this kind of ListKit account automation.
This is not an official ListKit integration. It's a community-built workflow using a third-party AI agent. ListKit support can help with anything on the ListKit side (Master Inbox, campaigns, account access), but cannot troubleshoot Grok Bot itself, xAI's platform, or issues specific to the bot's behavior.
Grok Bot needs to log into your ListKit account. It runs its own browser on its own server and logs into ListKit directly, the same way you would. Use a ListKit account you're comfortable giving this level of access to, if you manage multiple client accounts, decide carefully which one you connect it to.
How to set it up
Step 1: Get a Grok Bot plan
Sign up for Grok Bot at the required tier to unblock full capability for this kind of workflow.
Step 2: Add the ListKit Maxxing bot template
Use the pre-built template created for this exact workflow:
This loads in the context and training needed for the bot to understand how to operate inside a ListKit account, what to do with each reply category, how to follow up, and how to book meetings correctly.
Step 3: Log Grok Bot into your ListKit account
Once the template is added, Grok Bot opens its own browser session and prompts you to log into ListKit. Sign in the same way you normally would. From that point, it has direct access to your Master Inbox and account.
No Zapier or webhook setup is required for this, despite earlier expectations, the bot connects and operates directly inside the ListKit browser session once logged in.
Step 4: Give it instructions
Once connected, you can direct it conversationally, for example:
"Go follow up with everyone in my inbox who hasn't heard back in 3+ days"
"Do a full sweep of Master Inbox and make sure nothing's been missed"
"Book this lead in for next Thursday and CC my closer"
You can do this from desktop or from the mobile app.
Controlling how much autonomy it has
You don't have to hand over full control immediately. You can configure it to:
Draft replies for your approval before anything sends, useful while it's still learning your voice and process
Send replies fully autonomously once you trust its output, this is what "training wheels off" looks like
Most people start with approval required and graduate to full autonomy once the bot consistently sounds right and follows the correct process.
Expected outcome
Once properly set up and trained, Grok Bot can run your Master Inbox largely hands-off, replying to leads, handling objections, following up on stale threads, and booking meetings directly onto your calendar, without you manually managing the inbox day to day.
Frequently asked questions
Is Grok Bot an official ListKit product?
No. This is a third-party AI agent from xAI, configured by the community to work with ListKit accounts. ListKit does not build, maintain, or officially support this workflow.
Can ListKit support help me if Grok Bot isn't working correctly?
ListKit support can help with anything on the ListKit side of things, your account, Master Inbox, campaigns. Issues with Grok Bot's behavior, training, or the xAI platform itself fall outside ListKit's support scope.
How much does this cost?
Separate from your ListKit subscription, Grok Bot requires its own paid plan. The $100/month tier was used in the referenced walkthrough to get full capability.
Is it safe to give a bot login access to my ListKit account?
This is a decision to make based on your own risk tolerance, especially if you manage multiple client accounts. Consider which account you connect it to and how much autonomy you grant it, particularly around sending replies without approval.
Do I need to set up Zapier or webhooks for this to work?
No, despite that being an initial assumption in early testing, Grok Bot connects directly to ListKit through its own browser session once you log in. No additional automation tooling is required.
Can it launch new campaigns too, not just manage replies?
Yes, it's been used to launch campaigns as well as manage inbox replies, the same account access that lets it work Master Inbox also lets it operate other parts of your ListKit account if instructed to.
