The Include Companies filter lets you paste a list of company domains, and ListKit will automatically pull in those companies — along with all their employees — so you can filter down by job title, location, industry, funding, and more.

If you already know exactly which companies you want to target, this is one of the most powerful filters in ListKit.

Why the Include Companies filter matters

Most filters help you discover companies.
This filter helps you target exactly who you already want.

It’s ideal when you already have:

  • A list of dream accounts

  • Company domains from Google Sheets or Excel

  • Domains from manual research

  • Companies scraped from directories

  • Webinar or event attendee lists

  • Conference exhibitor lists

  • Competitor customer lists

  • Any curated account list you’ve built over time

Instead of rebuilding searches, you paste the domains and instantly unlock every employee inside those companies.

How the Include Companies filter works

  1. Paste a list of company domains

  2. ListKit matches those domains to company records

  3. You apply filters on top of those companies, such as:

    • Job Titles

    • Location

    • Industry

    • Funding

    • Company size

    • Keywords

  4. ListKit returns only the employees that match your criteria inside those companies

This is true Account-Based Marketing (ABM), done in seconds.

🚨 Critical rule: paste domains only

When using Include Companies, only paste domains.

❌ Do NOT paste

  • Column headers

  • Labels like URL, Website, Company

  • Any text that isn’t a domain

Incorrect example

URL | Company | Employees nike.com | Nike | 100000 adidas.com | Adidas | 60000

✅ Correct format

nike.com adidas.com

❗ ListKit will attempt to match everything you paste.
If it’s not a domain (e.g. nike.com), it can cause errors or bad matches.

When should you use Include Companies?

Use this filter when:

  • You already have a curated company list

  • You’re running ABM campaigns

  • You scraped domains from a niche directory

  • You’re targeting event attendees or exhibitors

  • You’re working from research or prospecting lists

  • You want to re-target known accounts

It’s especially powerful for:

  • Agencies

  • SaaS companies

  • Recruiters

  • Consultants

  • Cold email outbound

  • ABM-focused teams

How to paste company domains

ListKit accepts domains in nearly any format:

Line-by-line

stripe.com asana.com notion.so

Comma-separated

stripe.com, asana.com, notion.so

Messy lists

  • With http:// or https://

  • With duplicates

  • Mixed formatting

ListKit automatically cleans and normalizes domains, as long as they are valid domains.

Where the real power is: Include Companies + Job Titles

After pasting your companies, add job titles like:

  • Founder

  • CEO

  • Head of Marketing

  • VP Sales

  • Director of Operations

  • Head of eCommerce

ListKit will return only those roles inside your target companies.

This is where Include Companies becomes extremely powerful.

Example use cases

Example 1: Marketing agency

  • Paste 200 e-commerce brand domains

  • Add job titles: CMO, Marketing Manager
✅ Get marketing decision-makers inside your dream brands

Example 2: SaaS ABM campaign

  • Paste 300 target account domains

  • Add: CTO, VP Engineering
    ✅ Reach technical leaders only

Example 3: Recruiting firm

  • Paste 500 company domains

  • Add: Software Engineer
✅ Pull candidates from only those companies

Example 4: Event outreach

  • Paste exhibitor domains

  • Add: Partnerships, VP Sales, Business Development
✅ Contact the right people at every exhibiting company

Pro tips

  • Clean your list before pasting (remove headers and labels)

  • Always combine Include Companies with:

    • Job Titles (most important)

    • Location

    • Funding

    • Company size

    • Industry

  • Use Include + Exclude together:

    • Include your target companies

    • Exclude competitors, clients, or past leads

  • Great for segmentation:

    • “Top 50 dream accounts”

    • “New accounts this week”

    • “Accounts by country or size”
