TL;DR

  • Go to Email Engine → Inboxes and click Buy Inboxes

  • Choose your daily sending volume, ListKit calculates the domains and inboxes you need automatically

  • Pick domains similar to your main domain, set a redirect URL, and assign sender personas

  • Complete your purchase and your infrastructure is ready to warm up, no external tools needed

Why this matters

If you want to send cold email through ListKit's Email Engine, you need sending infrastructure: domains and inboxes. Buying them directly inside ListKit means everything, domain purchase, inbox creation, and setup, happens in one place. No separate registrar or hosting provider needed.

Do this when you're setting up outbound for the first time, or when you need to scale your sending volume with additional infrastructure.

Quick steps

  1. Log into ListKit and go to Email Engine → Inboxes

  2. Click Buy Inboxes (top right)

  3. Select your target daily sending volume

  4. Enter your main domain name, ListKit generates similar domains for you to choose from

  5. Select your domains (or use Auto Select), then set your redirect URL

  6. Assign a first name, last name, and inbox username to each persona

  7. Assign domains to each persona

  8. Review your order summary and click Complete Purchase

Step-by-step walkthrough

Step 1 - Log into your ListKit account and Navigate to Inboxes

Log into your ListKit Account.

In the left sidebar, go to Email Engine and click Inboxes.

Step 2 - Click Buy Inboxes

Click the Buy Inboxes button in the top right corner of the Inboxes page.

Step 3 - Select your daily sending volume

The setup wizard starts by asking how many emails you want to send per day. ListKit uses this number to calculate the exact number of domains and inboxes required to send safely.

Here is what each volume tier includes:

1000 emails/day:
20 domains - $300/year 40 inboxes - $250/month - Due today: $550

2000 emails/day:
40 domains - $600/year 80 inboxes - $500/month - Due today: $1100

3,000 emails/day:
60 domains - $900/year 120 inboxes - $750/month - Due today: $1,650

5,000 emails/day:
100 domains - $1,500/year 200 inboxes - $1,250/month - Due today: $2,750

10,000 emails/day:
200 domains - $3,000/year 400 inboxes - $2,500/month - Due today: $5,500

Note: Domain costs renew annually. Inbox costs renew monthly. The amount due today combines both.

Select your volume and click Continue to Domains.

Step 4 - Choose your domains

Enter your main domain (for example, yourbrand.com). ListKit will generate a list of similar-looking domains you can use as your sending domains. These are separate from your main domain to protect your primary sender reputation.

If not enough domains load at first, scroll to the bottom of the page - more options appear as you scroll.

You can either:

  • Manually select the domains you want

  • Click Auto Select and let ListKit choose for you

Once your domains are selected, enter the redirect URL. This is the website your sending domains will point to if someone visits them directly, usually your main website. Once done, click Continue to Personas.

Step 5 - Set up sender personas

Each inbox needs a sender identity, a first name, last name, and inbox username. This is what your prospects will see in the From field of your emails.

Each domain supports up to 2–3 inboxes, and each inbox gets its own persona.

For each persona:

  1. Enter a First Name, Last Name, and Inbox Username

  2. Click Assign Domains

  3. Select your domains manually or click Select All Available

Repeat for each persona until all inboxes are assigned. Then click Continue to Confirm.

Tip: Use realistic-sounding names. Avoid obvious placeholders, they reduce trust when prospects see them in their inbox.

Step 6 - Review and complete your purchase

The confirmation page shows your full order summary: domains selected, sender personas, and total cost. Review everything, then click Complete Purchase. Your domains and inboxes are provisioned automatically.

What to expect after purchase

  • Your domains are registered and configured automatically

  • Your inboxes appear in the Inboxes tab inside Email Engine

  • Your infrastructure is ready to begin the warmup process

Important: Do not start sending campaigns right away. Let your inboxes warm up first to protect your deliverability.

Troubleshooting

  • Not enough domains loaded on the selection page.

Scroll to the bottom more options load as you scroll. If you still don't have enough, try a slight variation of your main domain in the search field.

  • Can I mix and match volume tiers?
No. Each package is a fixed set of domains and inboxes built for safe sending at that volume. You can purchase multiple packages if you need more.

  • What happens after I complete the purchase?

Your inboxes appear in the Inboxes tab. Begin the warmup process from there before launching any campaigns.

  • Do domains and inboxes auto-renew?

Yes. Domains renew annually and inboxes renew monthly. You will be billed automatically on each renewal date.

  • Can I get a refund on my domain or inbox purchase?

No, reach out to ListKit support for any billing concerns related to your purchase.
