How do I use the Master Inbox in Email Engine?

TL;DR

  • Go to Email Engine → Master Inbox.

  • View all campaign replies in one place.

  • Categorize replies (Interested, Not Interested, Out of Office, etc.).

  • Click Reply to respond directly from ListKit.



Why this matters

The Master Inbox centralizes all replies from your cold email campaigns.

Instead of logging into multiple sending inboxes, you can:

  • View every reply in one dashboard

  • Categorize leads

  • Respond directly inside ListKit

This keeps your outreach organized and easy to manage at scale.



Step 1: Open the Master Inbox

  1. Log into your ListKit account

  2. Click Email Engine from the side menu

  3. Select Master Inbox

Once campaigns are live and replies start coming in, they will automatically appear here.



What you’ll see inside the Master Inbox

Replies will be showing here, with tags below each showing to which category each belongs.

Common categories include:

  • Interested

  • Not Interested

  • Out of Office

These categories help you prioritize follow-ups and manage pipeline flow.



How to view a reply

  1. Click on any reply in the Master Inbox.

You’ll see:

  • The full email thread

  • The conversation history

  • The original outreach message

  • The lead’s response

Review the full conversation before responding.



How to change the reply category

  1. Open the email thread.

  2. In the top-right corner, click the current category.

  3. Click on it and select a new category (e.g., Interested, Not Interested).

Keeping categories updated ensures:

  • Accurate reporting

  • Clean pipeline tracking

  • Better follow-up management



How to reply to a lead

  1. Open the email thread.

  2. Click Reply.

A reply pop-up will appear.

Inside the reply window, you can:

  • Write your response

  • Add CC

  • Add BCC

  • Why use CC?

You can CC your main business email to:

  • Maintain visibility in your personal inbox

  • Keep records outside of ListKit

  • Loop in teammates if needed

  • Click Send.


Your response will be delivered from the original sending inbox.



What the Master Inbox is used for

The Master Inbox is your central conversation hub.

Primary use cases:

  • Viewing campaign replies

  • Categorizing leads

  • Managing interested vs. not interested prospects

  • Handling out-of-office responses

  • Replying directly inside ListKit

Why don’t I see any replies?
Replies only appear once your campaigns are live and receiving responses.

Can I reply from my personal email instead?
Replying inside the Master Inbox keeps everything centralized, CC your personal email.

Do categories affect sending?
Categories help with organization and reporting. Certain statuses (like Unsubscribed) may prevent further outreach.
