How do I use Intent Data in ListKit 2.0?

When you’d use this / Why it matters

Use Intent Data when you want higher relevance in outbound. Instead of guessing who might need your solution, you target people and companies already showing interest—often improving reply rates and conversions.


What is Intent Data?

Intent Data shows buyer intent signals—topics or categories leads have recently engaged with or researched.

ListKit uses these signals to surface leads who are actively interested in specific:

  • Industries

  • Services

  • Product categories


Key details (limits + freshness)

  • Location: U.S. only

  • Freshness: Updated every 24 hours

  • Data window: Signals from the last 30 days


Step-by-step: Access Intent Data

  • Log into app.listkit.io.

  • In the left-hand menu, click Intent Data.

  • You’ll see two tabs:

    • Companies (the types of organizations you want)

    • People (the decision-makers inside those companies)


Step-by-step: Use the Data Stream (core Intent Data filter)

The Data Stream is what powers Intent Data.

  1. Click Data Stream.

  2. Click Add to open the topic list.

  3. Scroll and select the topics you want (example: Business Travel, Cruise Lines, Digital Marketing Tools).

  4. Click Save.

✅ ListKit will now pull leads who showed intent for those topics in the last 30 days.


Apply filters to narrow results

After choosing your Data Stream topics, refine your list using filters (similar to B2B Search, plus additional options).

People filters

You can filter by:

  • Job Title

  • Department

  • Seniority Level

  • Gender

  • Age Range

  • Income Range

  • Net Worth

  • Marital Status

  • Homeownership

  • State and City


Company filters

You can filter by:

  • Industry

  • Technology

  • Employee Count

  • Revenue

  • SIC Code

  • Domain or Company Name

  • State and City


Review lead counts before exporting

Once filters are set:

  1. Click Companies to see how many companies match.

  2. Click People to see the number of individual leads available within those companies.

This helps you estimate reach before spending credits.


Step-by-step: Export your leads

  1. Click Checkout (top-right).

  2. Choose your High-Value Fields (paid):

    • Business Email (1 credit)

    • Business Email Triple Verification (1 credit)

    • Personal Email (2 credits)

    • Personal Email Triple Verification (1 credit)

    • Mobile Numbers (5 credits

  • Under Additional Fields, select any extras you want (examples):

    • Company LinkedIn URL

    • Personal LinkedIn URL

    • Company Location or Tags

  • Optional exclusions (recommended):

    • Exclude all emails from order history

    • Exclude do not call numbers

  • Select your lead quantity.

  • Click Confirm & Export to start your order.


Expected outcome

You should now be able to:

  • Target leads based on recent intent signals

  • Layer People + Company filters to match your ICP

  • Review counts before exporting

  • Export lead lists with the fields you need


Tips for best results

  • Use Triple Verified emails for best deliverability.

  • Recheck Intent Data every few days—new intent leads are added daily.

  • If your counts are too low, broaden Data Stream topics or remove extra filters.
