How To Purchase & Set Up Your DFY Domains & Mailboxes With ListKit

Creating Your ListKit Account and Purchasing Your Subscription

If you don’t have a ListKit account yet, start here:

1. Add your email
2. Create a password
3. Check the CAPTCHA box
4. Click on Sign Up

Click Verify Account, and a code will be sent to your email (the one you just added).


Copy that code, paste it in the verification field, then click Check Code & Sign Up


Add your contact info to proceed to checkout:
(1) First Name
(2) Last Name
(3) Phone Number (optional)
(4) Company Name
(5) Company Domain
(6) Click Continue

Add your billing info:
(1) Card Number
(2) Country
(3) Street Address
(4) City
(5) Additional Info / State (optional)
(6) Click Subscribe


A pop-up will appear: Payment Complete. Click Start Exploring

Another pop-up will show your purchase, close it by clicking the X icon.


Click Continue under success, and your account is now created!



Generating The Domains

Once your account is ready, you’ll land on the Create New Domains section. Here, you’ll generate 15–45 domains depending on your plan. You can check the amount of domains your subscription offers on the pricing pages: listkit.io/cold-email-setup - listkit.io/cold-email-setup-custom.

On the right side, you’ll input the info needed to generate your domains:
(1) Name – type in your company name
(2) Description – a few words describing what your business does
(3) Keywords – more relevant keywords to influence domain suggestions
(4) Click Generate Domains

ListKit will begin generating domains, give it a few minutes.

Once the domains load, go through them: If you dislike any, click the Trash icon beside the domain to remove it. Then, click Generate Domains to generate replacements.


Make sure:
(1) The number of domains your plan includes = (2) The number of domains generated. If not, tweak the Description or Keywords, then click (3) Generate Domains again to have ListKit generate as many domains as your plan requires.

Once satisfied, click Next, total ($XYZ.XX) at the top-right corner of your screen.

The price per domain is $14/year for a total of $210/year per 15 domains - $420/year per 30 domains - $630/year per 45 domains.

You can cancel the renewal of the domains anytime after the completion of the sign up process.


Next, enter your billing info for domain purchase.


Click Next, total ($XYZ.XX) again to proceed.


Confirm your contact details and selected domains.


Click the Next, total ($XYZ.XX) button once more.


In the final pop-up, click Pay.


Below the button, you’ll see something like 0/15 domains paid. As they’re purchased, the count increases and a green progress bar will show. This process should take 3-5 minutes for 15 domains, and up to 30-40 minutes for 105 domains which can be bought in the custom plans.


When done, a pop-up appears: "Your order is being processed" - "We're setting up your domains." That means the domains were purchased and are now being configured by ListKit. Click the Domains button - Domain generation time can vary based on the company name, description, and keywords that are added.

You’ll land on the Domains page. Here:

  • "Pending" = domain is still being configured

  • "Active" = domain is fully configured and ready to go

If a domain has a red error saying it’s not registered: Click (1) Regenerate Domains — any problematic domains will be swapped out. Make sure all domains say Active before moving on.

The domain is pending: Nothing Needs to be done, wait until the domain's status shows as "Active".

The domain is not registered: Tick the box next to the domain, then click on the Regenerate domain button.



Generating The Email Accounts

⚠️ DO NOT click the "Create email accounts" button until ALL OF THE DOMAINS have the ACTIVE status ⚠️

Once all your domains show as Active, click Create Email Accounts


This opens the Email Accounts page.
Here, you’ll set up inboxes for your domains, 2 inboxes per domain.


Add the details:


(1) Username 1
(2) Username 2

The usernames can be the first name of the person you want your emails to come from. Ex: Username 1: Andre - Username 2: andre.haykal - Other variations: AHayka, Andreh, Andrehaykal, etc.

Adding the username 1 and 2 the way they're written in the example above will result in having your emails show as following: [email protected] - [email protected].

(3) Password — must follow the complexity rules below
(4) Click Next Step: Confirm Emails

⚠️ The password you create here will be used for all inboxes.

You’ll see a list of inboxes that will be created based on the info you entered.
Click Continue to proceed.

⚠️ Do NOT uncheck any of the email accounts to make sure you're getting all of your email accounts, otherwise you may not get all of your email accounts, and won't be sending the full email volume).


Your inboxes will now start getting created. This can take 20+ minutes for 30 email accounts, and up to 2 hours for 210 email accounts. You can close your browser and come back later during this step as it's done from our end.

Once created, the email accounts are automatically connected to the email campaigns, and the warm-up process is enabled by default. You can click the Check Progress button to monitor setup.


You’ll see all accounts currently being created.


Go to SMTP Accounts to see the status of each, they should be labeled Warming.


Once all of your email accounts are created, and are warming up, you’re ready for the next steps in the DFY cold email setup onboarding process!
